HEIC, HEIF and AVIF decoding uses Microsoft's HEIF Image Extensions, HEVC Video Extensions and AV1 Video Extension through the Windows Imaging Component. They are Microsoft products installed from the Microsoft Store under Microsoft's terms and are not part of PlainJPG.
